Engine Timing Camshaft Sprocket

Engine Timing Camshaft Sprockets are gears designed to sync your camshaft's timing with other timing components. There will be one sprocket per camshaft on your vehicle.
sprocket is a cylindrical engine component with teeth machined along its outer edge that connects to the end of a camshaft and engages a timing chain or belt when rotating to open and close intake and exhaust valves in sync with piston movements in the cylinder head, controlling duration and duration of each stroke for maximum performance.
